Ye Chenghai ’s Fifth Donation to Renmin University of China, Establishing the “Chenghai Institute for Global Development and Security”

He studied at Renmin University of China at 20 years old. Now, at 80 years old, he donates for the fifth time to Renmin University of China. Mr. Ye Chenghai’s appreciation for his alma mater is something we are moved by and grateful for. He once said, “Students never forget their teachers. No matter where they go, they always hold a sense of gratitude towards their mentors and alma mater.”

Chief Minister of the Republic of Korea Embassy, Han Kyu Kim, Visits SIS

On December 19, 2023, Han Kyu Kim, the Chief Minister of the Republic of Korea Embassy visited the School of International Studies at Renmin University. Dean Yang Guangbin and Vice Dean Li Chen attended the meeting. The two sides engaged in discussions about Sino-Korean bilateral relations and cultural exchanges.

Neil Bush Visits the School of International Studies

On December 16, 2023, Neil Bush, Chairman of the George H.W. Bush Foundation for U.S.-China Relations, visited the School of International Studies at Renmin University of China. Neil Bush is the third son of former U.S. President George H.W. Bush, as well as younger brother of former U.S. President George W. Bush.
